BEHIND-THE-SCENES VISIT TO THE FREEMASONS’ LODGE
The arrangements for our guided visit to the Freemasons’ Lodge have now been finalised. The visit will be on Wednesday September 17th, meeting at 2pm in Old Beaconsfield.
In the past, Freemasonry was a secretive organisation, and unless you were a Mason, you didn’t find out what went on! Nowadays, the movement is outward-looking, with an emphasis on companionship and doing good for society as a whole. Many of you will have seen, not only the masonic symbols on some memorials in High Wycombe Cemetery, but also the charming little garden that the Masons have recently constructed at High Wycombe Station.
On our visit to their premises we will find out about the values that guide Freemasons, their contribution to society and the role of traditional rituals.
Places are being allotted on a first come, first served basis so do not delay! Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
