Welcome to the High Wycombe Society (Patron – Lord Carrington)
“If you care about our town – its past, its present, or its future – then the High Wycombe Society is for you. Whether or not you join us, we aim to act in your interests and those of generations to come. Our aim is to make the town more attractive, enjoyable, and distinctive, uniting our members in various activities related to planning, transport, heritage, and the environment.”
Do you ever think about our town? Do you reminisce about its past or plan for its future? Is it your home or just a place where you work, shop, or sleep? Would you like to stay longer or prefer to speed on your way? You might have seen us at Pann Mill on one of our Open Days. The Pann Mill Restoration Project is a success story, bringing an important part of our town’s heritage to the public in a tangible way. You might have seen our stalls at local events, visited our exhibitions, or attended our public meetings. We aim to engage the public in many aspects of our town. If you’re already a member of the High Wycombe Society, we hope you enjoy our newsletter and the opportunities it provides to explore, understand, and contribute to our town and its surroundings.
