The High Wycombe Society was delighted to pick up an award at the recent Civic Voice Annual Convention in Bristol. Pictured here, receiving the award on behalf of the Society from the Mayor of Bristol Civic Society who hosted the Civic Voice event, are Tony and Sheila Fooks. Tony chairs the national forum of regional civic societies within Civic Voice and is an executive committee member of ANTAS – the Association of North Thames Amenity Societies. Sheila has served the High Wycombe Society for many years in the capacity of Membership Secretary.
The award recognised the work which went into our Civic Day event in 2015 including the running of a competition in the run-up to the day itself.
