At the AGM of ANTAS (the Association of North Thames Amenity Societies) held in Berkhamsted on 29th November 2014, guest speaker Gillian Wain from the Fleet & Church Crookham Society talked about “The Power of Social Media in the Civic Movement”. The meeting took place in the Great Hall (part of Berkhamsted Town Hall) and was hosted by the Berkhamsted Citizens Association who were celebrating their 90th anniversary.
The High Wycombe Society is a long-standing member of ANTAS and several members have taken active roles in its organisation. Earlier this year, at the Spring meeting of the Association which was held in Aylesbury, Freddie Gick, Chairman of Civic Voice visited to talk about Civic Voice plans for the future.
